Your roleYou’ll help connect brands with the people, ideas and services that can move their business forward. Working closely with our founder and specialists, you’ll build relationships, uncover opportunities and guide prospective clients from that first hello to a signed partnership.
Your week could include a coffee with a potential partner, a discovery call with an exciting brand, a collaborative pitch session and a networking event where you meet our next client.
What you’ll do- Find and qualify new business opportunities through outreach, referrals, networking and partnerships.
- Build genuine relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Lead outreach through email, calls and meetings with a personal, thoughtful approach.
- Ask great questions to understand each client’s goals, challenges and budget.
- Collaborate with our specialists to create tailored proposals, presentations and scopes of work.
- Present recommendations, negotiate contracts and close new business.
- Keep our pipeline organized using CRM and sales tracking tools.
- Help develop brand partnerships and identify opportunities to grow client relationships.
- Stay connected after the sale, supporting a smooth handoff and ongoing client satisfaction.
- Experience in sales or business development, including prospecting, qualifying leads and closing deals.
- A knack for building relationships and making people feel heard.
- An understanding of marketing, PR, social media and digital communications.
- Strong writing, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Experience developing proposals and keeping a sales pipeline organized.
- The initiative to work independently and the enthusiasm to collaborate.
- An organized approach to managing priorities, follow-ups and targets.
- Curiosity, follow-through and a sense of humour.
Agency, communications or marketing experience is an asset. Relevant education is welcome, and we equally value hands-on experience and a track record of making things happen.
Why you’ll love working with us- Great people: Join a supportive, creative team that shares ideas and celebrates wins.
- Flexibility: A part-time, hybrid role based in Vancouver, with a mix of working from home and connecting in person.
- Room to grow: Help shape your role, with the potential to move into full-time as the agency grows.
- Variety: Work across brands, industries and services, with plenty to keep you curious.
- A voice at the table: Work directly with our founder and bring ideas that help shape what comes next.
- Work you can get behind: Build partnerships with brands that value community and authentic connection.
