Under general supervision and direction, the technologist will perform a variety of laboratory procedures accurately, efficiently and safely while maintaining quality control and prioritizing workload. Duties include: processing specimens for Microbiology as per established policies and procedures; interpretation and reporting of gram-stained.
- Current Registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO)
- Successful completion of an accredited MLT program
- Recent experience in Microbiology would be an asset
- Excellent communication, organizational and problem- solving skills
- Membership in CSMLS

Responsibilities
The technologist will perform laboratory procedures, including specimen processing for Microbiology, while maintaining quality control and safety standards. They are responsible for the accurate interpretation and reporting of gram-stained specimens.
Requirements
Candidates must hold current registration with the CMLTO and have successfully completed an accredited MLT program. Membership in the CSMLS is required, and recent experience in Microbiology is considered an asset.
