Original job description

About the Company

We are an international logistics organization offering opportunities to contribute to its growth, with exposure to cross-border customers and logistics markets across North America and opportunities for advancement as the regional business and sales team continue to expand.

About the Role

We are looking for motivated logistics sales professionals with experience in either e-commerce logistics or freight forwarding. Depending on the successful candidate’s experience, the position may be offered at the Sales Coordinator, Sales Representative, Sales Supervisor, Sales Manager, or Senior Sales Manager level. This role is well suited to someone who understands the logistics market, can develop new business, and - particularly at the experienced level - brings an established client network or the ability to generate bookings.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities in e-commerce logistics or freight forwarding.
Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers.
Understand customers’ supply chain and logistics requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
Manage the sales process from prospecting and qualification through quotation, negotiation, and account development.
Work closely with operations and other internal teams to support customer onboarding and service delivery.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular updates on opportunities, bookings, and account performance.
Monitor market developments and identify potential customers, industries, and trade lanes.
Represent the company professionally in customer meetings, industry events, and other business development activities.

Qualifications

Relevant sales experience in e-commerce logistics or freight forwarding is required.
Approximately 1–2 years of relevant experience may be considered for a Sales Coordinator position.
More experienced candidates should demonstrate a strong record of business development and revenue or booking generation.
Existing customer relationships, industry networks, or a transferable book of business are strongly preferred for experienced positions.
Strong knowledge of the relevant logistics products, customer needs, and sales cycle.
Ability to prospect independently and develop new customer accounts.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
English proficiency is required.
Chinese and English bilingual capability is an advantage, particularly for serving Chinese-invested and cross-border customers.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Permanent residents are preferred; candidates holding a valid work permit may also be considered.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of the relevant logistics products, customer needs, and sales cycle.
Ability to prospect independently and develop new customer accounts.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
English proficiency.

Preferred Skills

Chinese and English bilingual capability, particularly for serving Chinese-invested and cross-border customers.
Existing customer relationships, industry networks, or a transferable book of business for experienced positions.

Pay range and compensation package

Sales Coordinator: approximately CAD 55,000 annual base salary, generally aligned with candidates who have around 1–2 years of relevant experience.
Experienced Sales Representative: approximately CAD 70,000 annual base salary.
Compensation for highly experienced candidates may be negotiated based on experience, client resources, and demonstrated ability to generate business.
Performance-based bonus or commission may apply and will be discussed during the interview process.

Equal Opportunity Statement

We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities and considers all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada, and applications from diverse backgrounds are encouraged.
