Harris Auto Group is looking for an experienced, driven Fixed Operations Manager to lead the Service, Parts and Detail departments at one of our busy import dealerships in the Okanagan.

The Opportunity

Our dealership has a strong foundation and significant opportunity for continued growth. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the operation, build on what is working and identify opportunities to improve performance.

Your focus will include:

• Growing the business: Drive customer-pay labour sales, repair order counts, hours per RO and overall departmental profitability.
• Customer retention: Build lasting relationships, improve customer loyalty and create an experience that keeps customers coming back.
• Leading from the front: Be actively involved in the service drive, shop and parts department. Support advisors at the counter when needed and help resolve challenges before they become problems.
• Developing your people: Coach, motivate and hold your team accountable while creating a positive, productive workplace.
• Operational excellence: Improve shop productivity, dispatch, workflow, appointment capacity and overall efficiency.
• Sales department support: Manage a busy vehicle reconditioning operation, ensuring quality work and timely turnaround.
• Customer experience: Take ownership of customer satisfaction and ensure your team consistently delivers exceptional service.
• Financial performance: Understand your numbers, manage expenses and make informed decisions that improve gross profit and departmental net.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is organized, motivated, confident and genuinely enjoys the automotive business.

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Proven leadership experience in automotive Service or Fixed Operations management.
• A demonstrated ability to grow sales, improve profitability and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of dealership operations, including service, parts and reconditioning.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with employees and customers.
• A hands-on leadership style with a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
• Strong organizational skills, follow-through and personal accountability.
• An understanding of dealership KPIs and how to turn performance data into meaningful improvements.
• Experience with Asian import automotive brands is preferred.
• Experience with PBS dealership management software is an asset.
