Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate to join our Private Wealth Management team in Brandon, MB. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with clients to develop personalized financial strategies that align with their goals, ensuring they maximize their wealth potential. Key Responsibilities Individual must be well versed in financial planning and passionate about helping clients seek positive outcomes. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Building and deepening relationships with clients either independently or along with the Financial Consultant Proactively resolving client issues, concerns and requests Maintaining updated client files and database Conduct client conversations to understand financial goals and needs Identify wealth, investment, retirement, life insurance and other financial planning opportunities and formulate recommendations Work in planning software to create and update tailored financial plans Complete risk management assessments, and work with our various insurance carriers to provide the best solution for our clients Generate new business opportunities through relationships with current prospects, clients and Centers of Influence Maintain strong documentation and follow compliance requirements Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team Participate in ongoing training, coaching and professional development Represent our team professionally in client meetings, community conversations, and business development activity Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must have: CIRO-MFDA license and Insurance Life License Qualification Minimum 2 years of industry experience or equivalent education Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) Customer service orientation with a demonstrated ability to interact professionally with clients both on the phone and in-person.
