We are currently looking for an in-store Tailorshop Supervisor. What You'll Do:
- Tailoring Ensure finished product reflects HR quality and timing standards Alter garments according to pin or chalk marks made by Fitter Performing special request services
- Safety Maintain a clean, safe and fully supplied working area Clean equipment and surrounding area upon completion
- Teamwork Promote positive working relationships Respect the skill levels of all store contributors
- Human Resources/ Leadership Schedule Tailoring Associates Maintain organizational structure in the Tailor Shop Initiate ways to increase shop efficiency
- Administration Management of Tailor Shop Ensure the smooth operation of tailoring services Manage rush orders
- Workload Ensure appropriate distribution of workload Understand and assess shop capacity and expectations
Here’s what we are looking for:
- At least 2 years of experience in leading a team of tailors/alterationists with a focus on ensuring deadlines are met and quality and productivity remain high so as to meet and exceed business goals.
- Knowledge and expertise in altering and tailoring luxury menswear garments including jackets, pants, and shirts
- Ability to use and maintain a variety of industrial sewing machines and pressers with 2-3 or more years of experience
- Your focus on providing exceptional support and service, leading to customer satisfaction and loyalty
- A goal achiever; working individually and as part of a team to achieve store success.
