- Help Finance stakeholders understand technology constraints, dependencies, tradeoffs, and implementation considerations.
- Build trusted relationships across Finance and Technology to improve collaboration and project outcomes.
Systems, Data & Integration Delivery
- Coordinate delivery of solutions involving Finance applications, enterprise platforms, data, integrations, reporting, and related technology infrastructure.
- Manage dependencies across upstream and downstream applications and data flows that support Finance processes.
- Partner with technical teams to coordinate solution design, development/configuration, testing, deployment, and production readiness.
- Ensure appropriate attention is given to data quality, interfaces, reconciliations, security, controls, and operational support requirements.
- Coordinate system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), defect management, cutover planning, deployment, and post-production stabilization.
- Work with application owners and support teams to ensure solutions transition effectively into ongoing production support.
Vendor & Third-Party Management
- Manage technology vendors and implementation partners supporting Finance initiatives.
- Coordinate vendor activities, deliverables, dependencies, timelines, and issue resolution.
- Ensure vendor deliverables align with internal technology standards, business requirements, and project commitments.
- Partner with Technology and Finance stakeholders during vendor evaluations and solution implementations as appropriate.
Project Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Provide clear and consistent reporting on project health, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, budget, and key decisions.
- Facilitate project working sessions, status meetings, steering committees, and executive-level updates.
- Establish clear ownership and accountability across project teams.
- Escalate issues appropriately and facilitate timely decision-making when competing priorities or dependencies affect delivery.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to Technology project governance and delivery standards.
