We are seeking a Regions Marketing Manager to lead marketing strategy for Canada. Working with the Canadian leadership team, sector and business leaders, and global Marketing & Communications colleagues, you will align the regional marketing agenda with the strategic business plan and focus investment on the opportunities most important to growth.

You will own the regional marketing plan, market positioning, campaign priorities, thought leadership strategy, and strategic visibility programs. As the region’s senior marketing partner, you will turn business priorities into a small number of high-impact programs, provide direction to communications and specialist teams, and measure marketing’s contribution to business outcomes.

This role suits a strategic and creative B2B marketer and strong project manager who can advise senior leaders, influence investment decisions, challenge priorities constructively, and lead complex programs across a matrixed global organization.

Responsibilities

Regional strategy and business alignment

Partner with Canadian leadership to understand the strategic business plan, growth priorities, key pursuits, client needs, market opportunities, and reputation challenges.
Develop and own the regional marketing plan, including priority markets, audiences, objectives, programs, investment recommendations, and measures of success.
Advise senior leaders on marketing priorities and focus resources on the opportunities with the strongest potential business impact.
Connect regional priorities with global sector strategies, capabilities, and campaigns.

Market positioning and growth

Own regional market positioning, value propositions, priority audiences, and strategic narratives.
Use market, client, competitor, and performance insights to identify opportunities and inform business and marketing decisions.
Build awareness, relevance, and credibility in priority Canadian markets and sectors.
Partner with business development and pursuit teams on strategic accounts, client programs, and priority growth opportunities where marketing can add value.

Campaigns, thought leadership, and visibility

Set campaign priorities and lead integrated marketing programs from strategy and briefing through delivery, measurement, and optimization.
Own thought leadership strategy, including priority themes, audiences, business outcomes, and activation plans.
Determine the strategic approach to executive and expert visibility, speaking opportunities, sponsorships, industry engagement, and reputation-building activity.
Approve campaign briefs and ensure programs have clear business sponsorship, objectives, audiences, propositions, roles, budgets, timelines, and measures.

Investment, governance, and performance

Recommend and manage regional marketing investment, making clear trade-offs across competing priorities.
Provide strategic direction to the Regional Communications Manager and specialist teams while maintaining clear accountability for delivery.
Establish practical performance measures and report on outcomes, insights, and marketing’s contribution to regional priorities.
Identify initiatives to stop, improve, scale, or reuse across sectors and regions.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
Typically 10-15 years of progressive B2B marketing experience, preferably in professional services, consulting, engineering, infrastructure, energy, mining, or another complex industry.
Demonstrated experience aligning marketing strategy and investment with business plans, market opportunities, and growth priorities.
Strong experience in market positioning, integrated campaigns, thought leadership, strategic account marketing, and performance measurement.
Credibility and confidence advising senior leaders, challenging priorities, and influencing decisions in a matrixed organization.
Excellent business acumen, strategic thinking, communication, planning, and program leadership skills.
Ability to lead through influence and coordinate regional and global teams, specialists, agencies, and stakeholders.
English fluency is required. Professional proficiency in French is strongly preferred.

Base salary range: $100,000 - $130,000

At Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In accordance with legislated pay transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is based on current market data and aligned with internal pay structures to ensure consistency and fairness.

Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, =qualifications and location. In addition to base pay, our total rewards package may include performance-based incentives, comprehensive benefits, and other programs designed to support your well-being and growth.
