The Media Coordinator is a key member of the media team and is responsible for supporting the execution of smart, innovative and performance driven omnichannel media campaigns. Working with Investment Specialists, you contribute at a campaign level in identifying and selecting media partners that achieve identified strategic and tactical objectives as laid out by the Strategy and Planning teams.

Your primary focus as an entry level team member, is on continuous learning and development across the media and advertising landscape. You believe in continuous learning and pride yourself on being proactive and solutions oriented. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Strategy, Planning, Performance and Analytics) to ensure our go to market approach is seamless and considered best-in-class for your group of clients.

To fulfil these requirements, the media team must collaborate seamlessly with other functional teams and specialists. This role reports to the Investment Director and will support the larger Activation team.

Responsibilities:

Media Buying

Learn how to utilize internal and syndicated sources to gather data and support Buyer in tactical campaign recommendations.
Assist Investment Specialists with the preparation and submission of RFPs (Request for Proposal) to prospective media partners.
Collate media partner proposals for team review and participate in assessment of responses with team.
Contribute to the recommendation of partners and tactics for contextually placed buys across media channels.
Collaborate with Havas specialty teams (Performance, Analytics, etc) to activate full, integrated media plans.
Assists in creation of plan detail and spec sheet to creative team and/or brand for trafficking purposes.
Contribute to client status reports on behalf of the Investment team.

Campaign Execution

Partner with ad ops, trafficking, and creative teams to ensure go live readiness across all channels.
Ensure timelines are met to execute campaigns with excellence.
Partner with the Analytics team to ensure timely optimizations that drive best performing partners and placements.
Support the Activation team to ensure accuracy of client billing and perform the reconciliation of discrepant billing issues, raising issues to senior staff when necessary.

Partnerships & Industry Education:

Meet with vendor sales representatives to obtain information about their products.
Liaise with vendors for set up of connections including in-person and virtual meetings.
Contribute to creative kick off calls with any media partner if necessary for creative and/or brand teams.
Keep abreast of industry trends and assist in knowledge sharing across your immediate team and agency with clear implications for clients.
Provide support to senior members of the team in creation of vendor and opportunity POVs.

Qualifications and experience:

· Prior work or internship in related field preferred

· Strong interest in media and advertising

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

· Comfortable with computer and data base management

· Strong organizational, communication, teamwork, and multitasking abilities

· Ability to meet tight deadlines under minimal supervision.

· Great oral and written communication skills

· Good human with positive attitude
