Ensuring reconciliations are completed accurately and on schedule to support month-end reporting.
Preparing and posting journal entries while maintaining accurate financial records.
Reconciling subledgers to the general ledger and supporting intercompany transactions.
Assisting with month-end close activities and financial reporting requirements.
Preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for external audits.
Supporting ad hoc financial reporting, analysis, and operational projects.
Assisting with business analysis, modelling, cost-management initiatives, and projects that support strategic growth and decision-making.

Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
2-3 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment.
A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience working with accounting software; experience with Sage 300 would be considered an asset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude with a willingness to take ownership of responsibilities.

What You'll Get in Return

In return, you'll join a stable and growing organization that offers a supportive team environment and opportunities for professional development, along with:

Salary of $55,000-$60,000.
Annual bonus opportunity of approximately 3%.
RRSP matching program starting at 2%, increasing with tenure.
Three weeks' vacation plus two personal days.
Annual employee recognition rewards.
