Our client is looking for a Program Clerk to join their team in Brampton, supporting the administration of a new healthcare program. This is a detail-focused role involving high-volume documentation, provider communication, data entry and ongoing follow-up.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with healthcare providers and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
This is a 6-month, part-time contract opportunity. The role is fully onsite in Brampton, ON, working Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, for a total of 20 hours per week. Free onsite parking is available.
What You’ll Do:
- Review incoming requisitions, forms and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Follow up with healthcare providers to obtain missing or incomplete information.
- Set up and maintain provider accounts and information within internal systems.
- Enter and update information accurately across program databases and systems.
- Manage and organize high-volume fax and email communications.
- Prepare, send and track faxes and related correspondence.
- Monitor outstanding documentation and conduct ongoing follow-up to ensure items are resolved within required timelines.
- Organize and manage a high volume of work while meeting established turnaround times.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and adapt as requirements and priorities change.
- Communicate professionally with healthcare providers and internal stakeholders.
- Utilize Microsoft Teams and other office technologies to communicate, collaborate and coordinate daily work.
- Support the overall administration and day-to-day operations of the program.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy and data-handling requirements.

- The ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team environment.
- Reliability and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with routine deadlines.
- Previous experience in healthcare, medical administration or another environment involving confidential information is considered an asset.
