Your New Role
As a Contracts Specialist, you will play a key role within the Supply Chain Management team, supporting competitive sourcing initiatives, contract formation, administration, and compliance activities across materials, equipment, technology, and service categories. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, you will help optimize supplier performance, reduce risk, and ensure contractual obligations are executed effectively.
What You Need to Do
- Lead end-to-end competitive bid and sourcing processes, including strategy development, bid evaluation, supplier selection, and contract award recommendations
- Negotiate commercial terms and conditions while building and maintaining strong supplier relationships
- Monitor supplier performance, KPIs, and contract compliance, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost optimization
- Partner with stakeholders across IT, operations, and corporate functions to align sourcing and contract management strategies
- Manage contract amendments, extensions, renewals, and change control processes
- Resolve supplier and stakeholder issues throughout the contract lifecycle
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain and contract management processes
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, contract formation, contract administration, and supplier negotiations
- Degree or professional designation in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, or related field
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence or equivalent
- SCMP designation or similar professional accreditation considered an asset
- Strong experience negotiating and managing technology-related agreements, including SaaS, cloud services, software licensing, statements of work, SLAs, privacy/data processing agreements, and security exhibits
- Experience leading technology-related RFPs and competitive sourcing initiatives
- Experience using Coupa or similar procurement platforms is an asset
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- High ethical standards and experience handling confidential information
