Your New Company

Join a well-established North American equipment dealership and service organization supporting customers across the construction, forestry, road building, material handling, agriculture, mining, and transportation sectors. With a reputation for providing industry-leading equipment solutions, parts support, and aftermarket service, the company offers employees the opportunity to work with a diverse range of equipment and technologies while building long-term careers within a growing international organization. The business promotes a culture of accountability, safety, continuous learning, and internal career progression.

Your New Role

As a Field Service Technician, you will provide onsite diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services on a wide range of heavy equipment throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Working independently from a fully equipped service truck, you will be dispatched directly from home to customer locations, delivering timely and professional service.

Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Travel to customer sites throughout the GTA to inspect and service heavy equipment in the field.
Complete preventative maintenance and equipment inspections to maximize uptime and reliability.
Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other major components.
Maintain accurate service records and ensure all work is completed to safety and quality standards.
Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and responsive service.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Journeyperson certification in Heavy Equipment, Agricultural Equipment, or Truck & Transport mechanics. (candidates without this certification may be considered, depending on experience)
Minimum 3 years of experience repairing heavy equipment or related machinery.
Previous field service experience with a dealership or equipment service provider is strongly preferred.
Strong diagnostic capabilities across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Ability to work independently, manage your schedule, and provide exceptional customer service.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the GTA.

What You'll Get In Return

Competitive hourly compensation, typically ranging from $40-$54/hour+ field bonus, depending on experience, certifications, and skill level, including a field service premium.
Company-provided service truck with the ability to dispatch directly from home.
Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x after 40 hours worked per week.
Comprehensive health and benefits package, with flexibility based on candidate experience and market conditions.
Exposure to a diverse range of equipment across construction, forestry, mining, roadbuilding, agriculture, and industrial sectors.
Strong opportunities for career advancement within a large, growing organization operating across multiple industries and international locations.
