Your New Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The organization delivers a mix of industrial and commercial projects, including design-build, design-assist, negotiated, and stipulated-sum work, with project values ranging from smaller service and maintenance projects to complex builds exceeding $40 million.
Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and field leadership, you will manage all aspects of project delivery including budgeting, forecasting, procurement, scheduling, contract administration, change management, and financial performance. You will play a key role in maintaining client satisfaction, supporting field operations, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget.
The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and possess the leadership skills necessary to manage multiple stakeholders while driving project success across a diverse portfolio of work throughout British Columbia.
What You'll Need to Succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience managing mechanical construction projects and a strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, contract administration, and client relationship management. Experience with industrial mechanical systems, process piping, equipment installations, manufacturing facilities, institutional projects, or large-scale commercial construction would be highly beneficial. Strong communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to lead both internal and external project teams are essential.
A background in mechanical construction, engineering, construction management, or a related trade would be considered an asset.
