PL/SQL Developer

Role: PL/SQL Developer - OFSAA Data Integration

Type: Contract (Hybrid 3-4 days a week on-site)

Location: Toronto

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced PL/SQL Developer with OFSAA expertise to join a high-performing team supporting enterprise-scale data integration and financial data processing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, OFSAA Data Integration Hub (DIH), and Unix/Linux shell scripting, along with a proven ability to manage complex data sourcing, transformation, reconciliation, and batch processing workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support complex SQL and PL/SQL solutions within the OFSAA environment.
• Build and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and data processing routines.
• Configure and support OFSAA Data Integration Hub (DIH) workflows and data integration processes.
• Perform source system analysis, source-to-target mapping, transformation design, and interface development.
• Develop and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for automation, batch processing, monitoring, and operational support.
• Support data ingestion, staging, transformation, reconciliation, and loading into OFSAA data models.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues, production incidents, load failures, and performance bottlenecks.
• Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL programs to improve processing efficiency and batch performance.
• Collaborate with business, functional, application, and infrastructure teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in testing, deployment, release activities, and post-production validation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, mapping specifications, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Strong expertise in developing and troubleshooting complex database programs.
• Hands-on experience working within an OFSAA application environment.
• Experience with OFSAA Data Integration Hub (DIH) and data integration processes.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Experience with high-volume data processing, performance tuning, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently manage complex data integration activities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Strong understanding of OFSAA data models, staging layers, batch execution frameworks, and data flows.
• Experience supporting business-critical production processes in large enterprise environments.
