Your New Role
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Control Coordinator will support the implementation and ongoing improvement of the company's Quality Management System (QMS). You will be responsible for conducting inspections, reviewing documentation, monitoring project quality requirements, and supporting project teams to ensure compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and client standards. Working closely with project managers, site supervision, and subcontractors, you will help maintain quality throughout all phases of fabrication and construction projects.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Post-secondary education in Quality, Engineering, Construction, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of quality control, inspection, or construction quality experience.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality management principles; CSA N299 knowledge is considered an asset.
- Ability to interpret drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's licence with the ability to travel to project sites as required.
- Inspection certifications such as CWB, TSSA, or similar would be considered an asset.
- MUST be able to pass a Government Security Clearance and have a reliable vehicle.
