Ref: 1127207

Toronto, ON

Up to $85,000 + 10% Bonus

Full-Time, On-Site

Your new company

Our client is an established investment management firm based in Toronto, with a strong presence in the real estate investment sector. The organization offers a collaborative and entrepreneurial working environment, with opportunities for employees to broaden their experience and progress their careers.

Your New Role

As Senior Associate, Investor Operations, you will join a small, collaborative team and take ownership of key activities across the investor lifecycle. This will include funding activities, subscriptions, transfers, distributions, cash movements, investor transactions and quarterly statements. You will respond to investor-related operational queries, review reporting and data, resolve more complex issues and ensure processes are completed accurately and efficiently. A key part of the opportunity is the exposure to technology, systems and process improvement. Over time, you will become involved in improving operational workflows and controls, identifying automation opportunities, supporting Salesforce and other business systems, user acceptance testing, data integrity, process mapping and system documentation. This is a fully on-site position in Toronto, five days per week.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

You will ideally have 2–5 years of relevant experience within fund administration, investor services, investment management, wealth management, banking operations or a similar financial services environment.

You will also bring:

  • A business-related degree or diploma
  • Experience working with detailed operational processes, reporting and data
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • An interest in technology, systems, automation and workflow improvement
  • The ability to take ownership and work independently
  • Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with internal stakeholders and investor-related queries

This opportunity would particularly suit someone with a solid foundation in fund administration, investor services or financial operations who wants to broaden their experience beyond traditional day-to-day processing.

What you’ll get in return

You will receive a base salary of up to $85,000, depending on experience, plus a target 10% bonus, benefits, three weeks' vacation, three wellness days and additional time off between Christmas and New Year. There is strong longer-term progression potential, with the opportunity to develop towards a Team Lead or Manager position and potentially progress into more senior leadership opportunities over time. You will also gain broader exposure across investor operations, reporting, technology, systems and process improvement.

If you meet all the requirements for this role, please apply quoting reference number: 1127207. Thank you in advance for your interest.
