Work Arrangement : Full-Time Onsite (3-4 Days/Week)

Max INC: $60/hr

Max T4: $50/hr

Role Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Quality Engineer with extensive experience in mobile and digital banking platforms. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in building quality into every stage of the software development lifecycle, ensuring resilient, secure, and customer-centric banking solutions. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous testing, expand automation coverage across mobile and API layers, and enable the rapid delivery of high-quality digital experiences for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

•End-to-End Digital Onboarding & KYC Testing: Design and extensively execute complex testing for the end-to-end customer digital onboarding lifecycle. This includes validating biometric identity verification (liveness checks, facial matching), optical character recognition (OCR) for document scanning (driver's licenses, passports), third-party fraud/AML screening integrations, and seamless user registration states.

•Validate Financial Workflows: Design and execute complex end-to-end testing for critical downstream banking features including account opening, internal/external fund transfers, mobile check deposits (RDC), and real-time ledger updates.

•Collaborate Early & Often: Partner with Product Owners and Developers during sprint planning and backlog refinement to define clear acceptance criteria (BDD/TDD) and identify potential edge cases.

•Build & Scale Automation: Design, write, and maintain robust automated test suites across the application stack (UI, API, and database layers).

•Perform Smart Manual Testing: Conduct strategic exploratory and UX testing for complex user journeys and scenarios that automated scripts cannot cover.

•Integrate with CI/CD: Maintain and optimize automated test runs within our continuous integration and delivery pipeline to ensure immediate feedback loops.

•Track & Troubleshoot: Identify, isolate, and document bugs clearly. Work side-by-side with developers to debug issues and verify fixes.

•Champion Quality Culture: Drive a team-wide mentality that quality is everyone's responsibility, actively sharing best practices for cleaner code and better testing.

Required Technical Skills & Experience:

•Experience: 10+ years of professional experience as a Quality Engineer, QA Automation Engineer, or SDET embedded within a Scrum/Agile team.

•Mobile application testing (iOS/Android).

•Automation Expertise: Proven hands-on experience building test automation frameworks from scratch using tools like Selenium, or Appium.

•Technical Depth:

•Solid understanding of at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#).

•Strong experience testing REST (using Postman, SoapUI, or automated scripts).

•Proficiency writing SQL/NoSQL queries to validate backend data integrity.

•Process Knowledge: Practical experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab) and Agile management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

•Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to challenge assumptions constructively.

Nice-to-Haves :

•Exposure to digital and mobile banking

•Experience with performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, K6).

•Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Docker containers.
