Technical Delivery Lead

Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Contract length - 6 Months (possibility for extension)

Our client in the financial services sector is seeking a Technology Delivery Lead to join their Digital Banking and Channel Technology team. This is a leadership role focused on driving the successful delivery of digital banking initiatives through Agile delivery practices, cross-functional collaboration, and technical oversight.

Working closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Architects, Developers, QA teams, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security stakeholders, you will lead a delivery pod responsible for bringing new products, enhancements, and platform improvements from concept through production release.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead Agile delivery activities for digital banking and technology initiatives
• Manage sprint planning, release planning, backlog prioritization, story estimation, and Agile ceremonies
• Partner with Product Owners and Project Managers to define scope, delivery roadmaps, MVPs, and release strategies
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Development, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and external technology partners
• Monitor delivery progress, team velocity, risks, issues, dependencies, and overall project health
• Drive production releases and ongoing platform enhancements
• Collaborate with architecture and technology leadership teams on solution design and delivery approach
• Provide status reporting and delivery updates to senior stakeholders
• Mentor, coach, and guide pod members while fostering a high-performing Agile culture
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across delivery processes and methodologies

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in technology delivery, Agile delivery, project delivery, Scrum Master, Technical Delivery Manager, Application Manager, or related leadership roles
• Experience leading Agile teams and managing software delivery through the full SDLC
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, sprint planning, backlog management, and release management
• Experience working with APIs, microservices, cloud-based environments, and modern application delivery practices
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams
• Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, and competing priorities in fast-paced environments

Preferred Experience

• Financial services, banking, lending, mortgage, fintech, or digital banking experience
• Experience supporting customer-facing applications, online banking platforms, or digital products
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern enterprise architecture environments

Rate - $120 - $135 hourly
