💰 $60,000 to $85,000 + commission | Full-time, Permanent
SCS Manufacturing is looking for a Project Manager / Estimator who enjoys the combination of numbers, people and getting things built.
You’ll take custom steel fabrication projects from quote to completion, working with customers and our Engineering, Production, Procurement and Quality teams.
- Build accurate estimates, quotes and proposals
- Review drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Manage schedules, budgets and project costs
- Coordinate projects from award through completion
- Manage changes, risks and customer expectations
- Keep projects moving, on budget and profitable
- 3+ years of relevant estimating/project experience
- Manufacturing, fabrication, structural steel or construction experience
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence

Responsibilities
Prepare estimates, quotes, and proposals for custom steel fabrication projects by reviewing drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Manage projects from award through completion, coordinating schedules, budgets, costs, changes, risks, and customer expectations to keep work on budget and profitable.
Requirements
Candidates need at least three years of relevant estimating or project experience, ideally in manufacturing, fabrication, structural steel, or construction. They must be able to read technical drawings and specifications, communicate and solve problems effectively, and hold a valid Class 5 driver's licence.
