Senior Developer – Java / AWS

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Java/AWS Developer with strong hands-on experience building and supporting scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Golang, microservices, and REST APIs, along with the ability to contribute to technical discussions, troubleshoot complex issues, and support other members of the development team.

Experience within the Banking or Financial Services industry is highly preferred.

Experience

• 6–9 years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java and cloud technologies.
• Banking or Financial Services experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and microservices.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Participate in technical discussions, solution design, and architecture reviews.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, including unit testing using JUnit.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvements in code quality and engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support and mentor team members in resolving technical challenges.
• Work effectively within an Agile development environment and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
