QA Engineer (Manual/Functional)
Work Location: Vancouver, BC ( 5 days at office setting without exception from day 1)
Total positions - 5
Annual compensation:
3 to 5 years: Up to CAD 55,000 plus benefits
Junior QA Analyst who performs manual test execution on tasks assigned.
Responsibilities
-Manual test execution for complex new scenarios & features
- Review bugs/tasks from offshore testers before they get assigned to developers
- Follow up on high-priority and blocking issues.
- File high signal tasks that can be assigned directly to developers - Work very effectively with QA lead and rest of the QA team
- Follow up on important incremental changes and get it covered
- Provide weekly reports on tasks executed
Qualifications
- Experience in the testing domain
- Familiarity with testing life cycle processes, test case planning, test case designing and test execution
- Experimented in mobile application testing
- Expertise in end-to-end sanity, regression, smoke, and new feature testing
- Experience in test results and bug analysis
- Experience working in teams with offshore
onsite model
- Expertise in various defect management

Responsibilities
Execute manual tests for complex scenarios and new features, review offshore testers’ bugs and tasks before developer assignment, and follow up on high-priority or blocking issues. Collaborate with the QA lead and team, ensure important incremental changes are tested, and provide weekly reports on completed tasks.
Requirements
Requires experience in software testing and familiarity with testing life-cycle processes, including test planning, test case design, and execution. Candidates should have mobile application testing experience and expertise in end-to-end sanity, regression, smoke, and feature testing, test and bug analysis, defect management, and offshore-onsite team collaboration.
