Role Summary

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Designer to support new product development for one of our customers. If you’re passionate about mechanical design, sheet metal design, 3D modeling, and product development using SolidWorks and Teamcenter, we’d love to connect.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop mechanical components, sheet metal parts, enclosures, and assemblies for new product development.

•Create detailed 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and assembly layouts using SolidWorks.

•Manage engineering designs, product structures, and design documentation using Teamcenter PLM.

•Apply sheet metal design principles, including bend allowances, flat patterns, material selection, and fabrication requirements.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.

•Support prototype development, design verification, testing, and engineering changes.

•Ensure designs meet engineering specifications, GD&T requirements, and manufacturing standards.

•Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), cost optimization, and continuous product improvement.

•Support product lifecycle management activities, including BOM creation, drawing releases, and engineering change management.

Qualifications Required:
