Provide construction observation, including field observation of landscape installation and plant selection.
Coordinate workload to ensure deadlines are met, reviewing documents for areas of conflict with other disciplines.
Collaborate with architects, planners, engineers and other disciplines on commercial and institutional-scale planning and design projects.
Meet with client representatives as needed.
Provide excellent communication, time management, graphic and organizational skills.
Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

A minimum of 6 years' experience working as a landscape architect / landscape designer within the region. Experience working in other regions across Canada in addition to BC is also considered an asset.

Strong planning and design skills, with experience in urban and institutional-scale projects.
Experience with the full range of planning and design phases including site analysis, community and site planning, conceptual development, grading, construction documentation and observation.

Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering with programs such as Rhino, Sketchup, Grasshopper, VRay, Lumion.
Experience with Land FX, Bluebeam Revu, and AI-assisted design visualization and rendering is desirable.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary design teams.

Excellent communication, time management, graphic and organizational skills.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering
Professional registration
Experience with MS Office, AutoCAD and Photoshop
Able to prepare site plans and understand the principles of grading and drainage
