The scheduled afternoon/evening physician will provide the above physician coverage, with a focus on new unassigned and unattached patient admissions through the ED, completion of patient rounding and end of day patient stabilization, and responding to urgent, non-code calls for patients admitted to the site. Weekdays, between 1700-2200, the physician covers all inpatients with FPs as MRP. This does not apply to patients with specialists as MRP. Weekdays/ weekends / holidays between 1700-2200, the physician will respond to NH calls if Primary Care Physician cannot be reached.

CHIP team members will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages, with a wide variety of illnesses, diseases, injuries, and functional disorders, providing both direct and indirect patient care.
