Original job description

Role and Facility Information

Join The Medical Clinic – Build Your Practice in a Modern, Physician-Friendly Clinic

Dedicated clinical space is currently available for physicians at The Medical Clinic in

Burnaby. Our clinic offers an excellent opportunity for a physician to establish or expand a family

practice in a modern, fully equipped environment, without the significant upfront investment and

administrative burden of opening a clinic independently.

Clinic Facilities

The Medical Clinic is a physician-owned and physician-run clinic providing a

professional, welcoming, and well-equipped environment for both patients and physicians.

The clinic currently features 5 fully equipped patient/examination rooms, 1 dedicated physician

office, and 1 separate room focused on aesthetic services. Dedicated clinical space is available to

accommodate an additional physician within our established clinic environment.

Administrative & Technology Support

The clinic currently has 1 physician and 2 dedicated MOA. As new physicians join, additional MOA

support will be added according to the physician's needs and practice volume, ensuring the

practice has the appropriate administrative support as it grows.

The clinic also provides Cortico online booking and appointment management, allowing patients to

conveniently book appointments online. Cortico also supports automated appointment reminders

and patient email communication, helping reduce administrative workload and improve patient

communication.

Physicians also have access to a complimentary AI medical scribe, designed to assist with clinical

documentation and reduce the time spent on charting, allowing physicians to focus more on patient care.

Why Join The Medical Clinic?

Dedicated clinical space available now

Separate lunch/staff room

High-speed internet and modern clinic infrastructure
Ample FREE on-site parking for physicians and patients
Additional FREE Street parking available
Flexible scheduling and practice arrangements
Opportunity to build your own longitudinal patient panel
Opportunity to develop and grow areas of special clinical interest
Professional and collaborative medical environment

Flexible Practice Models

We are open to working with physicians under Fee-for-Service, LFP, NTP or other applicable MSP supported models, depending on physician eligibility and preference. We are happy to discuss a

practice arrangement that aligns with the physician's preferred way of working.

A Practice Designed Around the Physician

Our goal is to make the transition into practice as straightforward and rewarding as possible.

Rather than starting from an empty space and taking on the substantial costs and responsibilities

of establishing a clinic, physicians joining the Medical Clinic can step into a ready-to-use, professional

medical environment with clinical space, EMR, administrative support and essential clinic infrastructure already in place.

Physicians maintain clinical independence and autonomy, while benefiting from the support of a

professionally managed clinic. The practice can grow with the physician, including increasing MOA

support as patient volume and administrative requirements increase.

The Medical Clinic is an ideal opportunity for a physician looking for a modern clinic, dedicated space, strong

administrative support, flexible practice options, and the opportunity to build a thriving patient

practice in Burnaby.

We welcome physicians who are new to BC, relocating to the Lower Mainland, establishing their

first practice, or looking for a supportive environment in which to grow an existing practice.
