Heating & Air Paramedics of Greenville is looking for an experienced HVAC Sales Consultant to join our growing team.

We are a local HVAC company serving homeowners throughout the Upstate, and we are looking for someone who can represent our company with professionalism, honesty, and confidence. This role is ideal for someone with HVAC knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to help homeowners understand their options when it is time to replace or upgrade their heating and cooling system.

This position offers base pay plus commission.

Position Overview

The HVAC Sales Consultant will meet with homeowners who are interested in replacing or upgrading their HVAC system. This person will inspect the existing equipment, gather job details, explain system options, present pricing, and guide the customer through the decision-making process.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable asking for the sale, but who also understands the importance of earning trust and providing honest recommendations. Our goal is not high-pressure sales. Our goal is to help customers make the best decision for their home, comfort, and budget.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with homeowners for HVAC replacement consultations and estimates
  • Inspect existing HVAC equipment, ductwork, installation conditions, and jobsite details
  • Gather accurate information including model/serial numbers, system type, tonnage, photos, measurements, access concerns, electrical concerns, ductwork concerns, and other important details
  • Explain replacement options clearly, including good/better/best options when appropriate
  • Present pricing confidently and professionally
  • Ask for the sale and help move approved jobs forward
  • Discuss financing options when applicable
  • Collect required paperwork, approvals, and deposits according to company process
  • Enter clear notes, photos, quote details, and follow-up information into company software
  • Follow up with customers on open estimates
  • Communicate clearly with the office, installers, technicians, and management
  • Help ensure a smooth handoff from sale to installation
  • Represent the company in a professional, honest, and customer-focused manner

What We Are Looking For

  • HVAC experience required
  • Residential HVAC sales experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, replacements, ductwork, and installation requirements
  • Comfortable meeting with homeowners and discussing pricing
  • Ability to explain technical information in a simple, easy-to-understand way
  • Strong communication, follow-up, and organization skills
  • Comfortable using company software, taking photos, and documenting job details
  • Ability to work independently and manage open estimates
  • Professional appearance and customer-first attitude
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
  • Must be dependable, coachable, and willing to follow company pricing and sales processes

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who understands HVAC, enjoys sales, and knows how to build trust with homeowners. We need someone who can confidently present options, close replacement opportunities, and still protect the customer relationship and company reputation.

This is not just a “run the appointment” position. We are looking for someone who can help own the replacement process from the first visit through customer approval and proper handoff to installation.

Compensation Base pay plus commission. Compensation will be based on experience, sales ability, and overall fit for the role.
