Original job description

CHC provides unmatched helicopter services that enable our customers to reach beyond – to work in remote and challenging destinations that limit others – and come home safely. We are dedicated to our purpose of getting our customers where they need to be, when they need to be there, anywhere in the world – safely and reliably. All you have to do is get on board!

At CHC, we pride ourselves on our values and culture

Care Creating a safe and sustainable environment for all.

Integrity Doing what's right and fostering a culture of respect.

Excellence Prioritizing quality services and setting industry standards.

Are you a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent attention to detail, and a hands-on experience with aircraft avionics and electrical systems?

If your answer is yes, then we want to connect with you!

Join the Heli-One Canada team as an experienced Avionic AME (E or AVS) Engineer (AVN or Transport Canada Licensed) at our Petawawa, ON location!

As a valued team member, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of aircraft avionics and electrical systems. You will ensure that all products and systems are maintained in accordance with applicable quality standards and that any discrepancies are appropriately reported.

Preference will be given to AMEs with experience on CH-146 or Bell 412. We value candidates who thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Are you qualified?

Do you have a current Transport Canada AME “E” Type license or Military AVN training on CH-146?
Do you have a min 3 years’ experience on Bell helicopters?

Do you have extensive knowledge of helicopter electrical systems?
Are you able to obtain security clearance to work on a Canadian Forces Military Base?
Are you able to obtain clearance for Controlled Goods and Reliability?
Are you willing to live near the base?
Are you legally able to work in Canada?

Eligibility

Applicants must have the legal right to work in Canada and meet any clearance requirements relevant to the role.
