Original job description

CHC provides unmatched helicopter services that enable our customers to reach beyond – to work in remote and challenging destinations that limit others – and come home safely. We are dedicated to our purpose of getting our customers where they need to be, when they need to be there, anywhere in the world – safely and reliably. All you have to do is get on board!

At CHC, we pride ourselves on our values and culture

Accountability Take pride and ownership of our actions and results.

Collaboration Working together with transparency and trust to drive continuous improvement.

Care Creating a safe and sustainable environment for all.

Integrity Doing what's right and fostering a culture of respect.

Excellence Prioritizing quality services and setting industry standards.

Are you a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to aircraft maintenance?

If your answer is yes, then we want to connect with you!

Join the Heli-One Canada team as an experienced Structures AME (S or ACA rated) Engineer (AVN or Transport Canada Licensed) at our Petawawa, ON location!

As a valued team member, you will play a crucial role in the repair/modification of aircraft components, as well as positioning and aligning subassemblies in jigs and fixtures. Preference will be given to AMEs with experience on CH-146 or Bell 412. We value candidates who thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Are you qualified?

Do you hold a valid Transport Canada AME “S” Type license or military equivalent?
Do you have a current Type rating on a B412 or Military AVN training on CH-146?
Do you have a minimum of 3 years of structures experience on helicopters?
Are you able to obtain security clearance to work on a Canadian Forces Military Base?
Are you able to obtain clearance for Controlled Goods and Reliability?
Are you willing to live near the base?
Are you legally able to work in Canada?

Eligibility

Applicants must have the legal right to work in Canada and meet any clearance requirements relevant to the role.

Why choose Heli-One?

Competitive base salary
- (SCA’s range from $72,260 - $86,319)
- (ACA’s range from $88,041 - $105,171)
Excellent benefits package with a company matched RRSP
Growth opportunities
Best in class technical expertise

Why become a Full-Time Employee rather than a Contractor?

Guaranteed pay increases each year (effective each October)
Company-funded benefits
Paid vacation days
Paid statutory holidays over and above vacation days
- Statutory holidays paid at 1.5 times the regular pay if working (13 recognized statutory holidays)
Paid sick leave
Coverage if you get injured on the job (STD/LTD)
Company commitment for stable long-term work
Uniforms provided
Company-matched pension
Benefit coverage for spouse and dependents

Please apply ONLINE at www.heli-one.com to be considered for this position.
