Key responsibilities :

Analyze technical drawings, including numerous historical or legacy drawings, to understand manufacturing requirements.
Identify and develop suppliers capable of manufacturing low-volume aerospace parts.
Assess suppliers’ manufacturing capabilities, including equipment, processes, experience, certifications, technical capabilities, quality, and other relevant criteria.
Issue requests for quotations, analyze bids, and recommend the best sourcing strategy.
Work closely with the responsible Buyer to ensure purchase orders are properly established and implemented.
Oversee the entire industrialization process with suppliers:
Quickly identify risks and propose solutions to meet project timelines.
Act as the technical point of contact between suppliers, Purchasing, Engineering, and Operations.

Note : Purchase order entry in BAAN may be handled by another resource. The role is primarily focused on supplier development and technical follow-up.

Are you our ideal candidate?

7 to 10 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing or procurement.
Excellent ability to interpret complex technical drawings, including historical drawings.
Good knowledge of machining processes, surface treatments, raw materials, and manufacturing processes.
Experience in supplier development and qualification.
Good understanding of the complete manufacturing cycle of an aerospace part.
Highly autonomous with excellent ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Practical, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to move projects forward with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of BAAN is an asset, but not essential.

Principales responsabilités :

Analyser les dessins techniques, dont plusieurs dessins historiques ou anciens, afin de comprendre les exigences de fabrication.
Identifier et développer des fournisseurs capables de fabriquer des pièces aéronautiques en faibles quantités.
Évaluer les capacités manufacturières des fournisseurs (équipements, procédés, expérience, certifications, capacité technique, qualité, etc.).
Effectuer les demandes de soumissions, analyser les offres et recommander la meilleure stratégie d'approvisionnement.
Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l'acheteur responsable afin d'assurer la mise en place des commandes d'achat.
Assurer le suivi complet de l'industrialisation auprès des fournisseurs :

Approvisionnement de la matière première;
Développement du procédé de fabrication;
Fabrication de l'outillage, au besoin;
Programmation CNC;
Lancement de l'usinage;
Suivi des premières pièces jusqu'à la production.

Identifier rapidement les risques et proposer des solutions afin de respecter les échéanciers.
Agir comme point de contact technique entre les fournisseurs, les achats, l'ingénierie et les opérations.

Note : La saisie des bons de commande dans BAAN pourra être effectuée par une autre ressource. Le mandat est principalement axé sur le développement des fournisseurs et le suivi technique.

Es-tu notre candidat idéal ?

Plus de de 7 à 10 ans d'expérience en fabrication ou en approvisionnement dans le domaine aéronautique.
Excellente capacité à interpréter des dessins techniques complexes, y compris des dessins historiques.
Bonne connaissance des procédés d'usinage, des traitements de surface, des matières premières et des procédés manufacturiers.
Expérience dans le développement et la qualification de fournisseurs.
Bonne compréhension du cycle complet de fabrication d'une pièce aéronautique.
Grande autonomie et excellente capacité à gérer plusieurs dossiers simultanément.
Esprit pratique, orienté solutions et capable de faire avancer les projets avec un minimum d'encadrement.
Connaissance de BAAN (un atout, mais non essentielle).
