We are seeking a QA Automation Lead with strong experience in backend API testing to support a leading Life Insurance client. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise with Playwright and JMeter, can lead QA strategy and execution, and has experience delivering quality solutions within Agile environments. Experience supporting Canadian banks or financial institutions is highly preferred.

- Lead QA strategy, planning, execution, and reporting.
- Design and execute automated API test cases using Playwright.
- Perform performance and load testing using JMeter.
- Validate REST APIs and backend services.
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
- Track defects and ensure high-quality software releases.
- Support Agile development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- 5+ years of QA Automation experience.
- Strong experience with Playwright and JMeter.
- Experience with backend/API testing (REST services).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience in Life Insurance or Financial Services.
- Experience working with Canadian banks.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines.
