Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and organizing materials
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, masons, and other skilled trades as required
- Perform concrete work, including mixing, pouring, leveling, and finishing
- Assist with framing, drywall installation, roofing, demolition, and general construction activities
- Measure and cut materials according to project specifications
- Operate light construction equipment such as compactors, skid steers, or forklifts (if certified)
- Follow blueprints, drawings, and supervisor instructions
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to occupational health and safety regulations
- Inspect tools and equipment and report any maintenance or safety concerns
- Complete assigned tasks within project timelines while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Experience in construction or a related field
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and safety practices
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Valid driver's license and vehicle are mandatory
- WHMIS, Fall Protection, and other construction safety certifications (mandatory)
- Work is performed on residential, commercial, or industrial construction sites
- Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
- Exposure to dust, noise, and changing weather conditions
- May require overtime, weekend work, or travel to different job sites
- High school diploma or equivalent
- First Aid/CPR certification
- CSTS 09 preferred
- Experience operating construction equipment or specialized tools
10% vacation pay included on each paycheque. Typically, shifts are 11 to 12-hour days, with overtime paid at time-and-a-half after 8 hours a day and after 40 hours per week.
You will be eligible to participate in our Employee Benefits Program, which includes life insurance, extended health, dental, and vision coverage and RSP contributions, coverage begins the first of the month following 350 hours worked.

Responsibilities
Prepare construction sites, handle materials, operate tools and equipment, and assist skilled tradespeople with concrete, framing, drywall, roofing, demolition, and other construction tasks. Follow project instructions and safety regulations, maintain a clean worksite, inspect equipment, and complete work on schedule to quality standards.
Requirements
Construction experience or related knowledge, familiarity with construction materials and safety practices, and the ability to use tools and equipment and perform physically demanding outdoor work are required. A valid driver's license and vehicle, along with WHMIS, Fall Protection, and other construction safety certifications, are mandatory; high school education, First Aid/CPR, CSTS 09, and equipment-operation experience are preferred.
