Carpenter

Overview

We are seeking experienced Carpenters to join our construction team. The right candidate will be able to display a wide range of carpentry knowledge and skills.

Our company primarily works on bridge construction projects.

Candidates should be hard-working, able to work as part of a team or independently, and wanting to continue broadening their skill set and knowledge.

Skills

• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches accurately
• Ability to prepare layouts in conformance to building codes
• Ability to use and read measuring tools
• Ability to measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
• Skilled in using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Ability to supervise other workers
