Original job description

Company Description HighFire Energy Services provides steam boiler rentals across North America, offering a diverse fleet that includes high-pressure and low-pressure steam, hot water boilers, and thermal oil heaters. Based in Alberta’s Heartland, the company supports industrial operations with reliable heating solutions and specialized services. HighFire also delivers industrial cleaning services such as chemical cleaning and vapor phase cleaning, supporting safe and efficient plant operations. The hot oiling team provides 24-hour fluid heating, dewax, hydrotest, and pressure truck services throughout Alberta. In addition, the fluid heating team operates fluid superheaters capable of heating large volumes of industrial water for applications such as frac ponds, c-rings, and tanks.

Role Description This full-time, on-site Outside Sales Representative role is based in Redwater, AB. The position is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for steam boiler rentals, heating solutions, and industrial cleaning services. Day-to-day activities include conducting sales visits, preparing and delivering sales presentations, and meeting with existing and prospective clients in industrial sectors. The role involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships, understanding client needs, and collaborating with operations teams to develop tailored service proposals and quotations. The Outside Sales Representative will also handle follow-up communications, manage a sales pipeline, and report on market trends and competitor activities.

Qualifications

Strong sales presentations and communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain technical services and value propositions.
Proven relationship building and customer service abilities to establish trust and support long-term client partnerships.
Experience in new business development, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing sales in industrial or energy-related markets.
Knowledge of industrial services, oil and gas, or boiler and heating systems is an asset.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites within Alberta and surrounding regions.
Self-directed work style with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
Comfort using CRM tools, basic office software, and reporting systems to track sales activities and performance.
Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent industry experience is also valued.
