Responsibilities
Interpret welding specifications and operate manual, semi-automatic, automated, and robotic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products. Perform flame and oxygen arc cutting, fit and braze metal, torch-straighten materials, and support truck repair.
Requirements
The role requires a College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience and 1 to less than 2 years of experience. Experience with stainless steel, steel, iron, heavy metals, and truck repair is relevant; the work also involves handling heavy loads, repetitive tasks, prolonged standing, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
