The Opportunity

Highspring is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join a high-performing Data & AI team responsible for building modern data platforms that power advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives. This role is ideal for a software developer with strong Python expertise who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, processing large-scale data, and building scalable cloud-based solutions.

You will work alongside Data Scientists, Architects, Product Owners, and Engineers to develop the data foundations that support next-generation AI and analytics capabilities.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based solutions supporting analytics and machine learning initiatives.
Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and processing workflows using modern cloud technologies.
Develop high-performance applications capable of processing large volumes of data efficiently.
Collaborate with Data Scientists, Architects, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to deliver reliable and scalable data products.
Contribute to technical design discussions and influence architecture decisions.
Promote engineering best practices related to software quality, scalability, security, and maintainability.

Work within Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

What You Bring to the Table

6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Backend Development, Data Engineering, or related fields.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
