Original job description

Join an established real estate company that focuses on constructing a lasting legacy while also pioneering creative environments for living and learning.

Your New Employer

Our client is an established real estate organization with a strong presence in Vancouver, dedicated to creating and managing high-quality residential communities. With a focus on thoughtful development, exceptional service, and long-term community building, the organization provides welcoming spaces where residents can live, connect, and thrive.

With a collaborative and people-focused culture, the organization takes pride in delivering a positive resident experience while maintaining high standards of professionalism and service. They are seeking a personable and motivated individual who shares their commitment to building meaningful relationships and creating exceptional customer experiences.

Your New Role

As the Leasing Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting prospective residents throughout their housing journey, from their initial inquiry through to move-in. Acting as a primary point of contact, you will provide personalized consultations, coordinate property tours, and help individuals identify housing options that best suit their needs and lifestyle. Your ability to build trust, communicate effectively, and deliver exceptional service will be key to creating a welcoming and seamless leasing experience.

You will also be responsible for managing inquiries, waitlists, vacancy pipelines, and rental applications, including tenant screening, reference and credit checks, preparing tenancy agreements, and coordinating deposits. Working closely with property management and marketing teams, you will support occupancy objectives, maintain accurate customer records, coordinate leasing listings and campaigns, and track performance metrics such as conversion rates, vacancy periods, and customer satisfaction.

What Sets You Apart

You bring 2–5 years of customer-facing experience in hospitality, tourism, premium retail, residential communities, student services, or a similar service-oriented environment. You are a confident and engaging communicator who genuinely enjoys helping people and building relationships. With strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and emotional intelligence, you are comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and take a thoughtful, solutions-focused approach to addressing their needs.

You are highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of customer service. You are comfortable using technology, including Microsoft Office, CRM systems, Canva, and digital communication platforms, and are eager to learn new systems and improve processes. You thrive in a collaborative environment, demonstrate initiative and accountability, and are flexible to work staggered shifts, including evenings and weekends on rotation.

What You Can Expect

You can expect to join an established and respected real estate organization that values collaboration, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. This is an opportunity to be part of a supportive team where your contributions directly influence the resident experience and the success of the leasing function.

The role offers a dynamic and people-focused working environment, with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, develop your leasing expertise, and contribute to ongoing operational improvements.

Next Steps

If you believe you meet the qualifications and criteria outlined above, please contact us today and we will be in touch to discuss how HighView can help you make your Best Next Move.
