Role : Workday Integration Developer
Location: Toronto (Hybrid - 3 day/week )
Job type: Contract(6 Months) - High possibility of Extension
Pay : CAD $60 /Hour

Description:
We’re looking for a Workday Integration Developer to build and support secure, reliable integrations between Workday and our enterprise systems using EIB, Workday Studio, and Orchestrations. This role requires strong communication skills, as you’ll work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy inbound and outbound integrations using EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services.
- Build and maintain Orchestrations to automate multi-step workflows and connect Workday with external systems and APIs.
- Transform data using XSLT, XPath, and XML/JSON for vendor file formats (payroll, benefits, ATS, banking, etc.).
- Create calculated fields and custom reports to support integrations.
- Monitor integrations, troubleshoot failures, and resolve production issues within SLAs.
- Regression test integrations for Workday semi-annual releases.
- Apply security best practices (ISUs, OAuth, SFTP, PGP) and maintain technical documentation.
- Partner with HRIS analysts, functional leads, and vendors to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issue resolutions clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
- Document designs, mappings, and runbooks in a way that both technical and non-technical audiences can understand.
Required Qualifications but does not need to meet all mainly (EIB and workday studio)
- 3+ years of hands-on Workday integration development experience.
- Strong experience with EIB and Workday Studio.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Orchestrations.
- Solid knowledge of XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Understanding of Workday HCM data and business processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, gather requirements, and collaborate effectively across teams and with external vendors.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday Integrations or Workday Extend certification.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Exposure to middleware/iPaaS tools (Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato).
