Role Description The Denim & Styling Specialist is a full-time, on-site role located in Montreal, QC. This role is responsible for providing personalized styling consultations, with a focus on denim fits, washes, and trends, to help clients build versatile wardrobes that reflect their individual style. The Specialist will curate product selections, coordinate complete looks, and maintain an elevated presentation of the denim and ready-to-wear departments. Day-to-day tasks include engaging with clients on the sales floor, offering expert product knowledge, supporting client appointments, and collaborating with store teams to drive sales and client retention. The role also involves staying current on fashion trends, participating in in-store events, and ensuring a seamless, luxury customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong fashion and styling expertise, particularly in denim fits, cuts, and current trends.
- Customer service and clienteling skills, including the ability to build lasting relationships and deliver personalized experiences.
- Sales and retail skills, such as consultative selling, upselling, and working toward individual and team targets.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication and active listening.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing appointments, merchandise presentation, and follow-up with clients.
- Ability to work on-site, standing for extended periods and moving between sales floor and fitting rooms as needed.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a diverse team environment.
- Previous experience in luxury retail or fashion styling is an asset.
- Proficiency in English; French language skills are considered an advantage in Montreal.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
