About the Role

The Ecommerce team is looking for a strategic and commercially minded Manager, Digital Analytics & Organic Growth to turn customer, website, product, and search data into actionable insights that drive measurable growth for holtrenfrew.com.

Reporting to the DVP, Ecommerce, this role will own digital measurement and performance insights across the end-to-end customer journey – from acquisition and product discovery to conversion, loyalty, and omnichannel behaviour.

The successful candidate combines strong web and e-commerce analytics expertise with an understanding of conversion rate optimization, SEO, product discovery, and emerging AI-powered search experiences. Working closely with Ecommerce, Marketing, CRM, Merchandising, Content, Product, Technology, BI, Finance, and external partners, this person will identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and measure business impact.

Key Responsibilities

Ecommerce Analytics & Insights

Serve as the primary ecommerce analytics expert and GA4 subject-matter expert for the business, owning measurement, analysis, reporting, and interpretation of ecommerce performance
Own the digital analytics and measurement strategy for holtrenfrew.com, including KPI definitions, tracking requirements, data governance, data quality, and reporting standards
Proactively answer business questions about site, brand, category, customer, and channel performance, analyzing the full digital funnel to identify performance drivers, friction, and growth opportunities
Translate complex analysis into concise, commercially relevant insights and recommendations, tailored for senior leadership including SLT and ELT audiences, with a focus on customer experience, conversion, revenue, marketing efficiency, and product discoverability
Investigate and resolve data anomalies across web analytics, the digital storefront, product feeds, marketing platforms, order data, and financial reporting in partnership with Technology, BI, and Finance

Customer Journey & Optimization

Establish and support a test-and-learn approach to conversion rate optimization, including experimentation, A/B testing, results analysis, and recommendations for scaling successful initiatives
Partner with CRM and data teams to strengthen understanding of cross-channel browsing, engagement, and purchase behaviour

Organic Growth & Discovery

Partner with Content, Merchandising, Product, and Technology teams to improve organic search performance, technical SEO, content relevance, website architecture, structured data, and product discoverability
Monitor SEO, on-site search, product-feed, shopping, and emerging AI-powered search performance; identify opportunities to improve qualified traffic, engagement, assisted conversion, and revenue
Work with Merchandising and Product Information Management teams to improve product taxonomy, titles, attributes, descriptions, images, and product-data quality for on-site search, SEO, shopping visibility, and AI-driven discovery

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing Analytics, Economics, or a related field
5–8 years of experience in digital, e-commerce, product, or marketing analytics, conversion rate optimization, SEO, or a comparable data-driven role
Strong hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, digital measurement design, and dashboarding tools such as Looker Studio, Looker, Power BI, or Tableau
Advanced SQL skills and working experience with cloud-based data environments, preferably Google BigQuery
Experience with customer journey analysis, funnel analysis, segmentation, experimentation, and A/B testing
Working knowledge of technical SEO, content SEO, structured data, website architecture, Google Merchant Center, product feeds, and e-commerce product discovery
Familiarity with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, Sistrix, or comparable platforms
Understanding of AI-powered search and generative search experiences, with the ability to apply practical, customer-focused SEO and content principles
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to turn complex data into concise, actionable recommendations
Experience in luxury, fashion, retail, marketplace, or high-consideration e-commerce environments is an asset
