Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate individuals to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

Companionship and conversation
Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
Medication and appointment reminders
Assistance with grooming and bathing
Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
Alzheimer’s Care *Previous experience not necessary but is an asset* *Skills training and ongoing training provided by Home Instead*

Requirements To Be a CARE Professional

Ability to treat and care for community members and their property with dignity and respect
Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
Complete a criminal background check and provide Two Professional and Two Personal References.
Possess a valid driver’s license and have a reliable vehicle. (Recommended, but not required)
Driver’s abstract is required
Possess a computer and a cell phone

Responsibilities

Provide non-medical in-home support to older adults, including companionship, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. Assist clients with reminders, personal care, toileting and incontinence needs, and Alzheimer’s care.

Requirements

Applicants must treat clients and their property with dignity and respect, communicate in a friendly manner, complete a criminal background check, and provide two professional and two personal references. A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, driver’s abstract, computer, and cell phone are requested or required as specified; prior experience is an asset but is not necessary, and training is provided.
