Description
Home Instead is looking for certified, Personal Support Workers (PSW), 2nd Year Nursing Students, and Registered Nurses (RN). Those with the courage and willingness to leave the safety of their own homes to make sure the most vulnerable stay safe in their own home.
Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow our clients to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.
Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
Complete a criminal background check with a vulnerable sector check
Provide 2 professional and 2 personal references
Complete our mandatory paid caregiver orientation

- Personal care assistance .Keeping accurate records of care
- Properly maintain communication regarding:
- Client activities-Progress-Concerns
- Treat & care for clients & their property with dignity & respect
- Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care Requirements to be a Caregiver:
Complete a criminal background check with a vulnerable sector check
Provide 2 professional and 2 personal references
Complete our mandatory paid caregiver orientation
- Previous personal care experience is required/or the willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment*

Responsibilities
Provide non-medical in-home support to older adults, including companionship, personal care, meal preparation, medication cueing, and light housekeeping. Maintain accurate care records, communicate client activities and concerns, and treat clients and their property with dignity and respect.
Requirements
Applicants should be able to communicate with clients in a friendly manner, complete a criminal background check with a vulnerable sector check, and provide two professional and two personal references. Previous personal care experience is required or applicants must be willing to learn; senior care experience is preferred, and a driving license is preferred.
