In this key executive leadership role, reporting to the EVP & Chief Commercial Officer, you will align organizational strategy, market opportunities, and operational priorities to drive sustainable growth, enhance service delivery, and improve mental health outcomes. As a strategic leader, you will collaborate with senior executives, operational leaders, and external partners to identify and advance opportunities for innovation, growth, and strategic partnerships.
You will play a pivotal role in expanding the organization's reach, strengthening its market position, and advancing initiatives that support long-term organizational objectives. Through operational excellence, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration, you will help position the organization for continued success in an evolving healthcare and mental health landscape while driving meaningful impact for clients, communities, and stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the development and execution of the organization's long-term strategic plan, ensuring alignment with its mission, vision, financial objectives, and enterprise priorities while identifying opportunities to optimize services and strengthen outcomes across the continuum of care.
- Drive organizational growth by identifying and evaluating new service lines, markets, partnerships, acquisitions, and strategic investment opportunities, while leading business case development and assessments for program expansions, facilities, clinics, and treatment centres.
- Monitor healthcare, mental health, and workplace wellness trends, policy developments, funding opportunities, and competitive activity to inform strategic decision-making, mitigate risk, and advance innovation across the organization.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with employers, insurers, healthcare organizations, government agencies, community providers, and academic institutions to enhance service delivery, expand organizational reach, and increase impact.
- Establish performance measures and reporting frameworks to evaluate progress against strategic objectives, ensuring initiatives support quality care, positive client outcomes, operational excellence, and long-term financial sustainability.
- Partner with executive leaders, clinical teams, operational stakeholders, and external partners to advance strategic priorities, champion innovation across EFAP, digital mental health, and integrated care services, and position the organization as a leader in mental health care
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Health Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field required; a master’s degree in business administration (MBA), Health Administration (MHA), Public Health, Strategy, or a related discipline is considered an asset.
- Significant senior leadership experience in strategy, business development, healthcare administration, mental health services, or a related sector, with a demonstrated track record of leading organizational growth, transformation, and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.
- Deep knowledge of healthcare, mental health, and workplace wellness environments, combined with exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, change management, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Proven ability to lead complex strategic and transformational initiatives, align cross-functional priorities, and drive sustainable growth within diverse and evolving service delivery environments.
- Strong executive presence and influencing skills, with experience partnering with senior leaders, clinical teams, and operational stakeholders to translate strategy into action and achieve measurable business and client outcomes.
- Exceptional business acumen, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify opportunities, overcome barriers, foster collaboration, and deliver results in a complex and dynamic environment.
