Here is what you will be doing each day:
As a Night Auditor you will be working with our Front Office Manager and Guest Services team to provide a positive guest experience from reservation to check-out, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. Your contribution helps ensure guests have an enjoyable and comfortable stay.
You will be working an overnight schedule 1-2 shifts a week in this part time role. You will be responsible for all night audit requirements and any guest service agent activities during your shift. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reconciling all hotel cashier transactions; reviewing, organizing and compiling management reports on a timely basis and ensuring the accuracy of guest billings and ledger transactions. You are also responsible to ensure consistent high quality customer service is delivered by providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests during the overnight shift, including late check-ins and early checkouts.
Key knowledge, skills or abilities that are required:
- A minimum 1-year hospitality experience, night audit experience preferred. Or, a combination of previous customer service and book-keeping roles.
- Confidence to work alone and the ability to work overnight (e.g., 11pm – 7am) shifts.
- Ability to work long hours occasionally.
- Excellent computer skills - MS Office, customer relationship management (CRM) software - OPERA experience preferred.
