Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for residential and C&I energy storage systems in Canada, including pre-sales solution support and post-sales service.
- Work closely with sales teams, distributors, EPCs, and installers to understand customer requirements and provide ESS solutions.
- Support system design, including system configuration, layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), BOMs, and basic technical analysis.
- Provide remote and on-site support for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical issue resolution.
- Ensure technical solutions comply with Canadian electrical standards, CSA requirements, and utility interconnection regulations.
- Deliver product training and technical presentations to customers, distributors, and installation partners.
- Collaborate with internal Product, R&D, and Service teams to improve customer experience and resolve technical issues.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in technical support, application engineering, system engineering, or field service within solar PV, ESS, inverter, or power electronics industries.
- Knowledge of residential and C&I solar-plus-storage systems and related installation practices.
- Ability to understand electrical drawings, SLDs, system layouts, and technical documents.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing skills.
- Experience working with distributors, EPCs, installers, or renewable energy partners.
- Familiarity with Canadian electrical standards and grid connection requirements is preferred.
- Fluent in English; French is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within Canada as required.
