Hourly Rate Range: $31 per hour (incorporated)

1. JOB SUMMARY
This position has been created to support a discrete project involving the review and tracking of secured collateral filings across Canada and the United States. The successful candidate will work independently to review loan and deal documentation, identify collateral filings, and extract key information for tracking and reporting purposes.
The role requires familiarity with loan documentation and collateral filing processes in either Canada, the US, or preferably both jurisdictions. This is an individual contributor role requiring independent work with limited oversight in a detail-oriented and deadline-driven environment.
2. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Documentation Review & Analysis
- Review loan and deal documentation.
- Identify and analyze secured collateral filings in Canada (PPSA) and the US (UCC).
- Review legal and financing documentation.
- Research and validate PPSA and UCC filings.
Data Extraction & Tracking
- Extract and track filing information in Excel.
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain tracking logs and reporting records.
- Extract and organize filing data in Excel.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders as required.
- Maintain accurate and complete records for reporting purposes.
3. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must meet all of the following mandatory requirements:

Strong knowledge of PPSA (Canada) and/or UCC filings (US)
Excel Proficiency
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and exceptional attention to detail
Legal Environment Experience
Previous experience working in a law firm, legal department, or similar legal environment
Documentation Review
Experience reviewing legal, loan, or financing documentation
Independence
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- No experience with legal documentation review
- No exposure to PPSA or UCC filings
- Limited Excel proficiency
