Senior Product Manager – AI-Powered Products

Location: Toronto, Canada

Work Model: On-site

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: CAD $220,000 base salary

About the Role

One of our clients is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the development and growth of a new AI-powered document intelligence product. This is an exciting opportunity for a product leader who enjoys building products from 0 to 1, owning the entire product lifecycle, and working closely with enterprise customers in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

You will define the product vision, establish success metrics, lead proof-of-concept engagements, and drive the product from early traction to scale. Working closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, customer success, and data teams, you will play a key role in shaping AI-driven solutions for the insurance industry.

This is a high-ownership role suited to someone who thrives in ambiguity, makes data-driven decisions, and enjoys turning complex customer needs into impactful products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap and strategy for an AI-powered document intelligence platform.
  • Lead product development from initial concept through deployment and scaling.
  • Define product KPIs, success metrics, and data-driven decision-making frameworks.
  • Run proof-of-concept engagements with enterprise customers and incorporate feedback into product improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, marketing, customer success, and data teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Drive the development of AI-powered capabilities, including document summarization, content generation, AI-assisted chat, and task management.
  • Balance long-term product strategy with hands-on execution in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Engage with enterprise stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into product requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with demonstrated ownership of 0-to-1 products.
  • Experience managing products from inception through deployment at growth-stage startups.
  • Strong B2B SaaS product management experience, with ownership of an entire product and its deployment rather than individual features.
  • Proven ability to define product strategy, establish KPIs, and drive execution.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with technical and business teams.
  • Bachelor's degree from a university in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom.
  • Ability to work on-site in Toronto, Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in regulated or compliance-driven industries such as insurance, fintech, or healthtech.
  • Experience launching products and working directly with enterprise customers.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-powered products, large language models (LLMs), and data-driven product development.
  • Experience conducting proof-of-concept engagements and using customer feedback to guide product decisions.

Technology & Tools

AI/ML, Large Language Models (LLMs), B2B SaaS, Data Analytics, A/B Testing.

What Makes This Opportunity Exciting?

  • High ownership: Lead a new AI-powered product line with significant autonomy.
  • Executive visibility: Work closely with senior leadership and influence product strategy.
  • Applied AI innovation: Build AI solutions that address complex, real-world enterprise challenges.
  • Enterprise impact: Work on products designed for major insurance organizations.
  • Competitive compensation: CAD $185,000–$220,000 base salary.
  • Growth-stage environment: Join a well-funded Series B company with more than $30 million raised and a lean, high-impact team.

Interested candidates: If you have experience owning B2B SaaS products end to end and enjoy building AI-powered products from the ground up, we'd love to hear from you.
