The Accounting Coordinator’s primary mandate is to support the Accounting team by performing accounting, administrative, and clerical functions to ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting activities.

Responsibilities include but not limited to
• Process and post sales orders in the accounting system
• Perform revenue and cost allocation activities as directed by management
• Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and the investigation of reconciling items
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
• Upload customer invoices to various customer portals, ensuring compliance with submission requirements
• Maintain accounting records and filing systems, both electronic and physical
• Assist with month-end close activities and preparation of supporting schedules
• Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records
• Liaise with internal departments and external customers/vendors regarding accounting-related inquiries
• Provide reception coverage and general administrative support as required during staff absences or peak periods
• Other duties as assigned by the Corporate Controller
Qualifications
• Diploma or bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 1-2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Experience with bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general ledger transactions is an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Experience working with ERP systems and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and transaction processing
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment
• Customer service oriented with a professional and positive attitude
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required
This is an existing vacancy. The base salary range for this role listed is based on market indicators to determine compensation, and an offer will consider various factors including experience, qualifications, skills, and training.
