Position Overview

Hunted International is currently recruiting a General Labourer / Manufacturing Shop Helper for an established manufacturing operation in Mississauga.

This is a day-shift opportunity for a dependable, hardworking individual who has previous experience working in a factory, machine shop, or manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will assist with general shop operations, cutting materials, operating basic shop equipment, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable using power tools, grinders, angle grinders, and band saws and is willing to support the manufacturing team with a variety of hands-on tasks throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily manufacturing and general shop operations.
• Cut and prepare materials using band saws and other shop equipment.
• Safely operate power tools, grinders, and angle grinders.
• Assist machinists and production staff with material preparation and general tasks.
• Load, unload, move, and organize raw materials and finished parts.
• Perform basic cutting, grinding, deburring, and material preparation when required.
• Sweep floors and maintain clean workstations throughout the facility.
• Collect and dispose of garbage, scrap materials, and manufacturing waste in designated areas.
• Keep tools, equipment, and materials organized and properly stored.
• Assist with general housekeeping and maintaining a safe, efficient production environment.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when operating equipment or handling materials.
• Complete additional general labour and shop support duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing, factory, machine shop, or industrial environment preferred.
• Hands-on experience using basic power tools.
• Familiarity with grinders and angle grinders.
• Experience using band saws or other material-cutting equipment is an asset.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing shop safety procedures.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and complete assigned tasks independently.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods and handling materials.
• Strong attention to detail and workplace safety.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to assist wherever needed.
• Able to consistently work the required day shift.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Previous manufacturing experience and familiarity with shop tools will be considered strong assets.

Compensation

$18 per hour

Candidates must be available to work the day shift consistently and be ready to start as early as next week.

Who We're Looking For
