Original job description

Job title: C++ Developer

Client: Performance Software Scale Up

Salary: up to $240,000 CAD P/A + Bonus (DOE)

Location: Montreal - Hybrid working offered

The role:

My client are seeking a talented engineer to join their existing team of elite software engineers to help build their next generation performance software platform. The existing team consists of some of the brightest minds hailing from a range of backgrounds (Big tech, Start-ups, Quant Funds etc), all striving to build the next generation of performance technology.

The position will allow you to work across a range of projects, within which you will get end to input on design and development as well as a real say in the direction that the team moves.

This is an extremely tech focussed organisation who are looking for the next wave of tech driven, entrepreneurial personalities to help expand the team.

The role is based in Montreal however, there will be some flexibility for hybrid working.

You will have:

3 + Years working with C++
Rust experience - not needed but a huge plus!
Experience working with highly distributed and scalable systems
Strong understanding of high level system design
Outstanding academic background
A curious and tech driven personality!

Responsibilities

Help build the next-generation performance software platform and contribute to design and development across a range of projects. Provide input into the team's technical direction and help expand the engineering team.

Requirements

At least three years of experience working with C++ and experience with highly distributed, scalable systems and high-level system design. Rust experience is a strong advantage but not required; an outstanding academic background and a curious, technology-driven personality are also sought.
